Crisis Management

However much and however well we plan, we can never always account for every possibility which will affect our business.

Often unsuspected events will present challenges for which your management and operational teams are not experienced to handle.

Even where the team does possess the required skills to handle a crisis, this can often place additional pressure on the day-to-day operation of the business, thereby increasing the negative affect.

Many of these events are not only hard, if not impossible to plan for but are also impossible to predict or control when they will occur.

  • Natural Disasters

  • Major Accidents (Customers or Employees)

  • Fire

Most of these present management challenges above and beyond the majority of manager's skill sets.

Our experience in this area includes:

  • Preparation of strategic plans for the tourism industry restructure following Cyclone Larry

  • Staff counselling following fatalities of colleagues

  • Management of negative PR through criminal actions of employees

  • On-on-One mentoring for the Queensland Tourism Industry Council - Business Recovery Coaching program
